The Core

The Core

I have always been deeply passionate about cinematic storytelling. For over a decade, I have dedicated myself to the camera, learning exactly how shadows, framing, and sound design can move people. Whether I am shooting a beautiful wedding film or a dynamic commercial promo, my goal is always the same. I want to reveal the profound narrative that my clients could not previously see, so I can exceed their expectations and create something truly memorable.

The Kitchen & The Edit

I started out running a busy family events kitchen, catering for up to 150 people every night. High end catering is almost entirely about logistics, breaking down a chaotic mass of tasks into manageable chunks. Tackling a massive documentary edit requires the exact same discipline. You prep your timeline just like you prep for dinner service. Chop the onions, then cut the footage.

The Iron Discipline

Spending fifteen unbroken years in the gym and eventually qualifying as a Personal Trainer has given me a lot of consistency. In the creative industry, motivation can come and go but discipline is what really matters. My fitness background keeps me sharp for long 14 hour shoot days. It also means I instinctively understand muscle biomechanics, so I know exactly how to light athletic subjects.

The Nat Cave

The Nat Cave is my home on YouTube. It is a digital sanctuary for deep dive documentaries, soundtrack analysis, and technical breakdowns. This serves as my public laboratory where I can test new editing workflows and experiment with complex motion graphics. It is a place to push my own creative boundaries without any client constraints holding me back.

The Arsenal

My creative work is built upon a diverse foundation. I hold a BA Hons in Politics from UWE and IEP Sciences Po in France, giving me a broad analytical perspective. Musically, I hold a Grade VIII in Guitar. On the technical side, I work across disciplines. I use Final Cut Pro, Logic Pro X, and Unity to bring code, sound, and vision together.

Six Strings, 25 Years

Six Strings, 25 Years

I have been heavily inspired by 60s blues rock and Mississippi fingerstyle legends since I started playing 25 years ago. The guitar is my oldest voice. It has led me to share stages with folk greats like Vin Garbutt and country legend Albert Lee. Today, that deep musical intuition translates directly into my video editing. I cut all my footage to the rhythm and treat every sequence like a visual symphony.
